online database of UK expertise on Latin America and the Caribbean focusing on
the humanities and social sciences, hosted by the Institute for the Study of the
Americas.

PRIZES
Essay Prize of the Association for the Study of the Cuban Economy “Jorge Perez-Lopez Student Award Competition”. Papers should address topics related to Cuba's domestic issues, its foreign relations, Cuban Americans or Cuba in comparative perspectives. For further details, see attachment. Temporary Lecturer The Department of Hispanic Studies, Durham seeks to appoint a temporary Lecturer in Latin American Studies. Candidates should have completed or be close to completing a PhD, developing a strong research profile and be able to teach aspects of Latin American cultural studies at various levels.
