SLAS Committee Business

The Committee meets four times a year and the Annual General Meeting is held at the Conference in March/April each year.

The regulations of the Society are set out in the constitution and statutes [Word].

All members can stand for election and vote. Closing date for candidacy is 2 March 2010. SLAS Information Posts

The Information Officer liaises between SLAS members, the Committee and the wider Latin American Studies community. They are in charge of the SLAS website and sending the monthly e-newsletters. At present, the post is divided between two colleagues: Silvia Posocco is the e-letter editor and Lucy Taylor is the website editor.
